From Weddings to music festivals, whatever type of event that you are planning, we can help you manage your waste. And by recycling as much as we can we help you reduce your costs.
What is Event Waste Management?
As part of our total waste management service we install a variety of bins in all shapes and sizes – often in bin station areas – to help segregate the different types of waste. We provide 240 litre, 360 litre, 660 litre and 1100 litre bins clear marked and signposted, situated in areas on main walkways with high footfall. We understand that it’s not just attendees that produce waste so we ensure we also have bins for caters promoting segregation and recycling back-of-house, as well as in public areas.
Experience has made us aware that during events people are less inclined to consider recycling as they may normally be so we ensure that we have well placed and clearly signposted areas for recycling and waste collection at events.
We find the public are increasing aware of the importance of recycling and appreciate event organisers efforts to provide a clean and environmentally friendly event. We pride ourselves on tackling all aspects of event waste recycling giving you the peace of mind to concentrate on what you do best creating a fantastic event.

Key to Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly Events
As the world becomes more environmentally conscious, the importance of effective waste management during events cannot be overstated. Event organisers, venues, and attendees all play a role in minimising the environmental impact of events, and a proper waste management strategy is crucial for achieving sustainability goals. In this article, we will discuss the benefits of effective event waste management and provide tips for implementing environmentally friendly practices at your next event.
Reduces Environmental Impact
By recycling and properly disposing of waste generated during events, organizers can significantly reduce the negative impact on the environment. This includes reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills and lowering greenhouse gas emissions associated with waste decomposition.
Enhances Brand Reputation
Sustainable practices demonstrate a commitment to environmental responsibility, which can enhance the reputation of both event organizers and participating brands. This commitment can also attract eco-conscious attendees and sponsors, ultimately contributing to the event's success.
Compliance with Regulations
Compliance with Regulations Many cities and countries have implemented waste management regulations for events, and failure to comply may result in fines or penalties. By implementing effective waste management practices, organizers can ensure they meet these requirements and avoid any legal issues.
Plan Ahead
Develop a waste management plan early in the event planning process to establish clear goals and responsibilities. This plan should outline the types of waste expected, recycling and disposal methods, and any necessary equipment or services required.
Partner with a Reputable Waste Management Company
Work with a professional waste management company experienced in handling event waste. They can provide valuable insights, services, and equipment to ensure your event is environmentally responsible and compliant with regulations.
Provide Clear Signage and Education
Clear signage is essential for effective waste management during an event. Make sure recycling and waste disposal stations are easily identifiable and provide instructions on proper disposal methods. Additionally, consider offering educational materials or workshops for attendees to raise awareness about waste reduction and recycling.
Encourage Sustainable Practices
Promote eco-friendly practices among attendees, vendors, and sponsors. Encourage the use of reusable or recyclable materials, reduce single-use plastics, and provide options for composting food waste.
Monitor and Evaluate
Track the success of your waste management efforts by monitoring waste streams and recycling rates. This data can be used to identify areas for improvement and to measure the overall impact of your sustainability efforts.
